Job summary

Ecowize USA in Bartlett, IL is hiring a Sanitation Technician to join a fast-paced team cleaning food production facilities. You’ll use specialized equipment and chemicals to sanitize equipment, floors, and work areas to meet USDA, FDA, and customer standards.

This is a third-shift, full-time role with a retention bonus total of $1,500 paid over the first year, plus milestones of $500 at six months and $500 at one year, subject to performance and attendance.

Qualifications

• Attitude and dependability for safety, teamwork, and quality.
• Must be reliable for overnight third shift including weekends.
• Prior sanitation experience is not required; training provided.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow usage guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and areas for readiness for pre-op inspections.
• Follow all safety protocols (Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, HazCom).
• Work efficiently to complete sanitation tasks within timelines.
• Maintain communication with teammates, supervisors, and plant staff.
• Support team and assist with additional duties as needed.
