Schwan's is seeking a sanitation associate for the third shift in Gahanna, Ohio. Starting pay is $21.25 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities in a food manufacturing environment.

The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, disassembling/reassembling equipment, and documenting chemical use and sanitation outcomes. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work varied hours including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic understanding of facility cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA, local, state, and federal safety standards.
• Ability to follow regulatory and company sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam and high-pressure hoses to clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and facilities.
• Operate COP tank cleaning equipment to clean disassembled equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules for routine cleaning of facility and production line.
• Use and document chemicals at stated concentrations for appropriate applications.
• Verify and document proper chemicals and concentrations and complete cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
