Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks an experienced Safety & Security Officer Overnight to join our luxury property. Reporting to the Director of Security, you will monitor CCTV, manage access, and deliver professional service while protecting guests, associates, and resort assets.

You’ll conduct rounds, respond to emergencies, complete incident reports, and coordinate with security management.

Qualifications

• Luxury hotel or resort security experience preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent English required; second language a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.
• Experience using security software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of guests, members, team members, patrons and visitors.
• Provide professional and courteous service while protecting resort assets.
• Adhere to security management policies.
• Assist guests to rooms or entry according to hotel standards.
• Maintain surveillance of resort areas and CCTV.
• Respond to emergencies; including medical, security, guest complaints.
• Complete incident reports accurately.
• Control keys; check packages and bags.
• Conduct rounds; escort suspicious persons off property.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.
