Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Overnight Safety & Security Supervisor to protect guests, members, associates, and property while leading security officers on shift. The role reinforces policy adherence and security excellence across the resort’s assets.

Reporting to the Director of Security, you will monitor CCTV, conduct rounds, document incidents, and coach staff to maintain a safe, premium experience for all guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Professional demeanor for a luxury environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing setting.
• Analyze information and make rapid, accurate decisions.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Shift, Key Watcher, SALTO is a plus.
• At least 1 year of progressive luxury resort experience.
• English communication; second language a plus.
• Flexibility for holidays and weekends; multi-tasking.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift briefings and delegate duties.
• Maintain surveillance of resort areas and CCTV systems.
• Document security activity logs and incident reports.
• Respond promptly to incidents and coordinate with authorities.
• Coach and counsel security officers to maintain service standards.
• Train new hires on policies and procedures.
• Assist other resort areas as needed without compromising security.
