Job summary

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is seeking a House Nursing Supervisor to deliver nursing care across Child, Adolescent and Adult Units on the 7P-7A shift. The role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence and staff support in a therapeutic psychiatric setting.

The successful candidate will hold a Florida RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least five years of psychiatric nursing experience, including Charge Nurse responsibilities, with strong knowledge of nursing operations and HR

Qualifications

Current license to practice nursing in Florida.
Current CPR or BLS certification.
Five years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience, with knowledge of Hospital policies and HR procedures.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality nursing care for patients on the child, adolescent and adult units.
Organize, manage and coordinate nursing services on the assigned shift as delegated by the Director of Nursing.
Promote a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff.
