Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is seeking a House Nursing Supervisor to deliver nursing care across Child, Adolescent and Adult Units on the 7P-7A shift. The role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence and staff support in a therapeutic psychiatric setting.

The successful candidate will hold a Florida RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least five years of psychiatric nursing experience, including Charge Nurse responsibilities, with strong knowledge of nursing operations and HR

The facility is looking for a House Nursing Supervisor 7P-7A ($3,000 Sign-On Bonus) who will be responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. As a key team member in the clinical area, the Nursing Supervisor promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. Organizes, manages and coordinates nursing services on assigned shift as delegated by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience. Must have thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Nursing, and Management of Human Resources policies and procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
