Job summary

Westgate, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking a Registered Nurse in Bangor, Maine. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Qualifications of a Registered Nurse include:
• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
• Oversee and guide LPNs and CNAs in delivering quality care
