Job summary

First Atlantic Healthcare’s Ross Manor in Bangor, ME is seeking an RN for overnight shifts to assess and monitor residents, administer medications, and work with physicians. This role requires an AS/BS in nursing and Maine RN licensure, with CPR certification at hire or during orientation, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

AS or BS in nursing.
Must be currently registered/licensed in Maine.
CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation.
CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records and/or solid computer skills
Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally
Effective leadership skills and/or ability to invest in growing this skill
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Responsibilities

Cares for residents.
Exhibits strong clinical skills.
Demonstrates excellent bedside manner.
Records a resident’s medical history, symptoms, and vitals.
Updates resident charts and electronic medical records (EMR).
Administers medication and other doctor-recommended treatment plans.
Complies with federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and policies.
Collaborates with nurses, doctors, and administrators.
