Qualifications

• PCA / PSS Certification or equivalent
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged with ability to work with both
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide meal planning, preparation, and feeding as required
• Provide medication reminders
• Foster meaningful connections with residents and offer emotional support
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to contribute to resident care plans
• Monitor safety and well‑being of residents, reporting changes promptly
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations
