Andy Frain Services, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Retail Security Guard at Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, IL. The role focuses on safety, customer service, and vigilant monitoring during a late shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

You will patrol, monitor CCTV, control access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional appearance. This full-time position offers benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities to contribute to loss prevention and safety improvements within a busy retail

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas or fixed post to monitor activity.
• Control access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems.
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times.
• Follow all post orders, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Inspect property for safety risks (fire hazards, equipment issues).
• Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements.
• Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.
• Provide directions and support as needed.
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence on-site.

PAY:

$17.50/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
• Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
• Minimum 3 -- 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems.
• State Guard license is required.
