Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Overnight Retailer Merchandisers for a 5-day project in Santa Cruz and Soquel, CA, paid at $19/hr. The role focuses on replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and documenting progress using our app.

Ideal candidates have retail merchandising experience, physical stamina, and a smartphone with the Survey Merchandiser App. Start date is October 11, 2026, with shifts around 8.5 hours and an unpaid lunch break.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising experience required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel for extended periods.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App.
• 18+ years old; valid driver's license; reliable transportation.
• Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plain shirt or polo; no shorts/tank tops/graphic shirts.

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify materials.
• Remove paper price tags from store shelves.
• Install new strips, electronic shelf labels, and tags in designated departments.
• Remove trash from the store and dispose of it in the dumpster.
• Palletize excess materials for pickup.

Schedule & Hours

• Start Time: 10:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8.5 hours (Unpaid Lunch Break)
• Arrival: Must arrive 15 minutes early
