Job summary

Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Overnight Retailer Merchandisers for a 5-day project in Taft, CA, paying $19/hr. This retail-focused role requires prior retail merchandising experience.

You will support a large retail reset by replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and documenting progress using our app. You’ll work on your schedule with flexible assignments and grow with ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising is required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must have a smartphone with the Survey Merchandiser App.
• 18+ with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Dress code: business casual; no shorts or sandals.

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify materials.
• Remove paper price tags from shelves.
• Install new electronic shelf labels and related tags in designated departments.
• Remove trash and prepare materials for pickup.
• Palletize excess materials for disposal or pickup.

Schedule & Hours

• Pay: $19per hour
• Start Date: September 27th, 2026
• Start Time: 10:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8.5 hours (Unpaid Lunch Break)
• Arrival: Must arrive 15 minutes early

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify all materials are included
• Remove paper price tags from store shelves
• Install new strips, electronic shelf labels, and associated tags in designated departments
• Remove trash from the store and dispose of it in the dumpster
• Palletize excess materials for pickup

Requirements (Must Have)

• Experience:Provenretailmerchandising experience
• Physical Ability:Lift up to 50lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
• Technology:Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App
• Other:18+, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• DressCode:Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plainshirtor polo.Not allowed: shorts, tank tops, graphic shirts, sandals, dirty clothing, or personal phone use on the sales floor
