Job summary

Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Overnight Retailer Merchandisers for a 5-day project in Bakersfield, CA, paying $19/hr. You will support a large retail reset by replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and documenting progress using our app.

Applicants must have proven retail merchandising experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and move for long periods, and use a smartphone with the Survey Merchandiser App.

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify contents.
• Replace paper price tags with electronic shelf labels.
• Install new shelves labels in designated departments.
• Dispose trash and palletize excess materials.

You will support a large retail reset by replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and documenting progress using our app.

Schedule & Hours

• Pay: $19per hour
• Start Date: September 27th, 2026
• Start Time: 10:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8.5 hours (Unpaid Lunch Break)
• Arrival: Must arrive 15 minutes early

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify all materials are included
• Remove paper price tags from store shelves
• Install new strips, electronic shelf labels, and associated tags in designated departments
• Remove trash from the store and dispose of it in the dumpster
• Palletize excess materials for pickup

Requirements (Must Have)

• Experience:Provenretailmerchandising experience
• Physical Ability:Lift up to 50lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
• Technology:Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App
• Other:18+, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• DressCode:Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plainshirtor polo.Not allowed: shorts, tank tops, graphic shirts, sandals, dirty clothing, or personal phone use on the sales floor
