Job summary

Clinical & Support Options, Inc. (CSO) in Pittsfield, MA, seeks an Overnight Counselor for the Respite program. You will provide supportive counseling, ensure client safety, assist with daily living tasks, and document progress to support individual treatment plans.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience, or a HS/Associate’s with 5 years of experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience with similar populations.
• Alternate: High School Diploma or Associate's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive, therapeutic counseling and safety for clients using the program.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration/documentation.
• Function as an active Treatment Team member and chart daily records.
• Maintain knowledge of each client's treatment plan and provide shift observations as needed.
• Monitor respite clients with hourly bed checks and closer observation when required.
• Answer crisis calls per established procedures and coordinate program support.
• Prepare daily evening meals when on the evening shift and coordinate duties.
• Share observations to help develop 24-hour care plans and provide shift reports.
