Job summary

Project Chesapeake provides addiction treatment and behavioral health services. We are seeking a full-time Residential Aide for a male residential location in Maryland to support clients and maintain nightly routines.

The role involves monitoring clients during overnight shifts, conducting rounds, assisting with intake, medication observation, and ensuring the daily schedule is followed. Prior behavioral health experience is a plus; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

Observe, identify, document changes in clients and inform others.
Understanding of addiction, mental health, and recovery concepts.
Prior experience in behavioral health is a plus.
Willingness to learn ASAM criteria, Stages of Change, and 12-step recovery methods.

Responsibilities

Monitor all clients during assigned shift and conduct rounds.
Ensure daily program/schedule is followed and adapt to changes.
Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes.
Observe and document medications taken or refused; supervise urinalysis as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and supervisors; attend team meetings.
