Job description

The Rental Car Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of rental cars.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans and maintains rental cars by vacuuming, cleaning windows, wiping down interiors, and using air freshener
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners to prevent damage
• May remove stains from carpets and other interior surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions
• Gathers and empties trash
• Monitors building security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliances to prevent hazards
• Drives vehicles during cleaning tasks
• Notifies management of repairs or facility needs
• Maintains effective communication with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
• Complies with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
