Planet Fitness is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our growing team! The Cleaner provides an essential role in ensuring a clean and sanitized club so we can provide the best experience for our members. Some positions require an overnight schedule, while others may have daytime hours. Please inquire at the interview for the specific hours needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
2. Stock locker rooms with proper supplies and paper products.
3. Properly dispose of trash and recycling.
4. Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude during interactions with members.
5. Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
6. Follow the “Lost and Found Policy” and return lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
7. Enjoy a free Black Card Membership, including access to any location, tanning, and bringing a guest!

Requirements

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work overnight hours, if applicable.
• Honesty and strong work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Diplomatic behavior and appropriate language during interactions.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• This role is subject to a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
