Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the Psychiatric Emergency Response team. The role supports the Emergency Departments by assessing patients with behavioral health concerns and making treatment recommendations.

This overnight, fully remote position requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field, and a Virginia LPC or LCSW license.

Qualifications

• Virginia LPC or LCSW license required.
• Overnight, full-time role on the Psychiatric Emergency Response team.

Responsibilities

• Assess the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial needs for each patient.
• Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare teams and community agencies to plan and implement care.
• Provide recommendations for treatment of behavioral/mental health concerns in the ED.
