Sentara Health is hiring a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the Psychiatric Emergency Response team in Virginia Beach, VA. The role assesses patients in EDs with behavioral health concerns and provides treatment recommendations.

Overnight, fully remote work is required. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field and Virginia LPC or LCSW licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field is required.
• Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

Responsabilités

• Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
• Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs.
