Citadel at Saint Joseph Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Freeport, IL. The RN assumes accountability for a group of residents, delivering care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care plan.

The role requires nursing licensure in the state, CPR certification, and preferably 1 year of experience with long-term care. A 3,000 sign-on bonus is available for new Full-Time Overnight RNs working the 6:00pm–6:00am schedule.

Formación

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Manages shift reports and ensures clean and safe care areas.
• Directs CNAs to ensure care is rendered per standards and regulations.
• Records vital signs, administers medications and IV therapy as ordered.
• Transcribes physician orders and documents in charts/MAR.
• Duties include admissions, transfers, discharges as needed.
• Maintains safety and reports discrepancies.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
