Job summary

Newport Healthcare in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide on-site nursing and attendant care for adolescents and/or young adults in our residential treatment program. You will complete health screenings, provide direct care, monitor chronic conditions, and collaborate with NP/MD to address medical concerns.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-first care within a multidisciplinary team, with emphasis on safety and adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state where applying.
• Experience in residential nursing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete client health screenings and provide direct care, including monitoring chronic conditions.
• Evaluate medical concerns during on-site hours and relay information to the NP/MD.
• Be a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Administer medications and order refills.
• Follow policies and procedures (OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, regulations).

What You’ll Do

Registered Nurses at Newport Healthcare provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and/or young adults in our treatment. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring any chronic health conditions
• Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relaying information to the appropriate NP/MD
• Serving as a vital part of your patients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Administering medications and ordering medication refills
• Complying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state where you are applying (required)
• Experience in residential nursing (preferred, not required)

Compensation Range: $39-$59 Based on education and expirence
