Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking registered nurses to provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and young adults in our treatment programs. You will conduct health screenings, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualified candidates have an active RN license in the state, and experience in residential nursing is a plus.

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state of application.
• Residential nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete client health screenings and provide direct nursing care, monitoring chronic conditions.
• Evaluate medical complaints during on-site hours and relay to NP/MD.
• Be part of the patients' multidisciplinary treatment teams.
• Administer medications and order refills.
• Follow policies and procedures (OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, regs).

What You'll Do

Registered Nurses at Newport Healthcare provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and/or young adults in our treatment. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring any chronic health conditions
• Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relaying information to the appropriate NP/MD
• Serving as a vital part of your patients' multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Administering medications and ordering medication refills
• Complying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations

• Experience in residential nursing (preferred, not required)
