Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and young adults in our treatment program. You will perform health screenings, monitor chronic conditions, and administer medications as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state where you are applying.
• Experience in residential nursing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to make good decisions based on analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment.

• Cultural competency and sensitivity to patients’ backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring chronic health conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring any chronic health conditions


• Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relaying information to the appropriate NP/MD


• Serving as a vital part of your patients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams


• Administering medications and ordering medication refills


• Complying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations

What Makes You a Great Fit
