Gaudenzia, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is hiring Registered Nurses for full-time overnight, 12-hour shifts at 4615 Park Heights Avenue. Compensation is $44.00–$49.50 per hour and an active RN license in the state is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Must have an active in good standing RN license valid in the state where clinical will practice.
• Must also possess current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessment for clients within 24 hours of admission per program policies and state regulations.
• Arrange appropriate health care provider appointments for complete physical exams and required health screenings.
• Administer medications and supervise self-administered meds where appropriate.
• Maintain inventories and accurate records of medical supplies.
• Counsel clients on nutrition, health care, self-care and symptom management.
• Ensure clients have medical coverage for safety and provider compliance.
• Ensure proper storage of supplies per regulation.
• Assist in staff events, trainings, retreats, workshops, and facility events.
• Implement health seminars on HIV/AIDS, nutrition, medication education, infectious diseases, mental health.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies and practices.
• Provide education on health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
• Maintain RN license in good standing.
• Other related duties as assigned by Nurse Manager.
