Job summary

As a nurse on our team you will conduct initial assessments within 24 hours of admission, coordinate exams, administer medications, maintain medical supplies, and educate clients on nutrition and self-care. Candidates must have an accredited nursing degree, active Maryland RN license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current RN license.
• Active in good standing Maryland RN license and CPR certification.
• Experience or training in behavioral health or addictions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessment within 24 hours of admission.
• Arrange physical examinations and health screenings with providers.
• Administer medications and supervise self-administered meds.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and records per policy.
• Counsel clients on nutrition, health care, and self-care.
• Ensure clients have proper medical coverage and provider compliance.
• Adhere to infection control policies and participate in team meetings.
