Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking an Overnight Program Director to lead the overnight Recovery Support team and ensure safety, quality care, and compliant operations at our Danvers location.

The role oversees hiring, training, and supervision of Recovery Support staff, conducts safety checks, incident reporting, and collaborates with nursing leadership to optimize admissions and care during the night shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in addiction/behavioral health services required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Prior supervisory experience in a substance abuse/behavioral health facility required.
• Experience managing small, cohesive teams preferred.
• Maintains confidentiality with patients and staff.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and retain Recovery Support staff.
• Supervise overnight Recovery Support Specialists with Program Director.
• Monitor RSS during shifts, complete documentation and incident reports.
• Conduct safety checks, shift exchanges, real-time supervisions, scanning, group registration, and downtime rounds.
• Review patient rounding reports daily and share information with RSS team.
• Review incident reports daily or per Quality Improvement cadence.
• Perform weekly rounding audits with Leadership Team to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist in monitoring QI indicators to maintain high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Program Director on on-call staffing and patient safety.
• Work with Nurse Manager to streamline admissions process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
