Job summary

The Ellen O'Brien Gaiser Addiction Center is seeking a Recovery Assistant for overnight coverage to support the Inpatient program in Butler, PA. The role is entry-level with training and orientation to familiarize new hires with daily operations and safety protocols.

You will provide care support, supervise clients, assist with meals, transport clients when needed, and help maintain a safe, confidential environment in a 24/7 setting.

Qualifications

• Prior residential aide experience preferred.
• Must be energetic and able to multitask.
• Must be responsible, reliable, and able to act ethically without direct supervision.
• Demonstrate the ability to respond to crisis situations and make good decisions under stress.
• Must be able to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review/discuss shift change report every shift change.
• Regularly review client logbook and update client observations.
• Complete assigned tasks on daily schedule.
• Transport clients in Center vehicles.
• Prepare food for clients.
• Intake and log client belongings upon arrival.
• Monitor clients at the facility and off-site during shift.
• Administer testing to clients upon admission as directed by nurse/counselor.
