Job summary

CCB Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Production Support Technician to oversee all production activities and collaborate with support departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

This role requires strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills; weekend supervision is included. The candidate should have a relevant high school diploma or GED, with preferred business administration education and production experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control principles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and production management software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production activities and collaborate with support departments to ensure smooth operations and deadlines.
• Serve as a liaison between production teams and other support departments; communicate schedule/material/deadline changes.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, inventory, and output.
• Monitor processes to ensure products meet quality standards and report issues to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
• Identify and resolve issues or delays; implement solutions and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Generate regular reports on production metrics and present findings to management.
• Identify training needs for each production team member and provide onboarding support for new hires.
• Supervise weekend staff and address questions or issues.
