Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Overnight Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations on our 3rd shift (11pm–7am). You will supervise, coach, and develop production associates, maintain schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

This hands-on leadership role requires cross‑functional collaboration with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates while setting clear expectations around safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance.
• Identify and resolve production issues involving equipment, processes, materials, quality, and staffing.
• Monitor production performance and adjust staffing, equipment, and processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Engineering to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap, improve quality, increase productivity, and minimize losses.
• Recommend improvements to processes, equipment, SOPs, and production methods.
• Maintain process setup documentation and production records.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and support a team of production associates. This person will be responsible for maintaining production schedules, developing employees, improving processes, reducing downtime and scrap, and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is comfortable being on the production floor, solving problems, and working across departments to keep operations moving.

Job Details

• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates while setting clear expectations around safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance
• Identify and resolve production issues involving equipment, processes, materials, quality, and staffing
• Monitor production performance and make adjustments to staffing, equipment, and processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met
• Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing scrap, improving product quality, increasing productivity, and minimizing production losses
• Recommend and support improvements to manufacturing processes, equipment, operating procedures, and production methods
• Maintain process setup documentation, production records, and other required shop floor paperwork
• Coordinate training and onboarding for new employees while providing continued coaching and development for existing team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide employees with clear goals, expectations, and timely feedback
• Plan staffing levels, vacation schedules, and shift coverage based on production requirements
• Monitor production supplies and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate departments
• Review employee timekeeping and address attendance issues according to company policies and procedures
• Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions, proper staffing, and clear communication between teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures
