Job summary

East Jordan Plastics, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Production Day Shift Supervisor for our Beaverton, MI facility. You will lead a night-friendly, 12-hour shift, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production targets while coaching teams and driving improvement on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years as a shift supervisor in manufacturing, with a strong focus on problem solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Shift Supervisor in manufacturing or similar role.
• Technical experience in thermoforming or injection molding preferred but not required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lead on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team on the Beaverton, MI line with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coach and develop teams; troubleshoot challenges in real time.
• Oversee nightly operations to meet production targets.
• Complete daily reports on Safety, Quality, Labor, and Delivery.
• Conduct daily 5S, Safety, and LOTO audits and document results.
• Identify resources to resolve issues and communicate with scheduler and leadership.
• Perform shift handoffs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
