Job summary

East Jordan Plastics is seeking a Recycling Supervisor for the Night Shift in South Haven, MI. The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in recycling or manufacturing, with hands-on leadership to drive safety, quality, and productivity.

You will plan daily schedules, monitor workloads, and coach the team while ensuring safe operations and compliance with process standards. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily/weekly schedules with available resources with safety and quality focus.
• Monitor workloads and employee utilization.
• Monitor sort, wash/dry, and grinding processes for quality and rates per hour.
• Oversee pelletizing process and check for quality mix and process rates.
• Pursue continuous improvement including productivity, quality, safety, environmental, and ergonomics.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members for performance and growth.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure safe equipment and production of product.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
