Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is hiring an Awake Overnight Positive Support Specialist for the Champlin, MN location. The role is part-time, on-site, with a wage of $21.50 USD per hour for night shifts from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The position supports individuals with intensive needs in ICRS programs and includes required training and benefits. Responsibilities include promoting independence, advocating for clients, documenting shifts, and crisis management with trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of individuals.
• Must physically be able to stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of local community resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to be more independent in essential life skills.
• Advocate for individuals in rights, medical care, and community.
• Complete documentation and record-keeping every shift.
• Manage crisis situations safely and effectively with training provided.
• Engage in trauma-informed care daily.
