Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota in Bemidji is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Positive Support Specialist to help individuals with intensive needs in our ICRS programs. You will work in a highly specialized setting, supporting people in home and community activities with a person-centered approach.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, advocating for clients, documenting each shift, and handling crisis situations with training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse individuals.
• Must be cleared by a BCA background check and have a driver's license.
• Ability to stand, walk, or lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to be more independent in essential life skills.
• Advocate for individuals in rights, medical care, and community activities.
• Complete documentation and records each shift.
• Manage crisis situations safely; training provided for behavioral supports.
• Engage in trauma-informed care daily.
