Job summary

The W Group is seeking an Overnight Porter to help keep our New York community clean, safe, and running smoothly through the night. This role covers sanitation, security checks, and reporting issues to the Maintenance Director.

You’ll work 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with benefits including health coverage, paid time off, holidays, and training. Prior night-shift or assisted living porter experience is a plus, and a reliable, detail-oriented attitude is a must.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with residents with respect and dignity.
• Able to multitask and work independently overnight.
• Prior experience as a Porter or Housekeeper in an Assisted Living Facility is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
• Tour the facility and grounds periodically, checking doors, windows, and equipment for proper working order
• Report any unusual conditions or malfunctions in heating, plumbing, or electrical systems to the Maintenance Director
• Document incidents and activity in the communication log
• Other duties as needed
