The W Group is an assisted living management company in New York seeking an Overnight Porter for the 12am-8am shift. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, inspecting facility conditions, and reporting issues to the Maintenance Director.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with Residents with respect and dignity.
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
• Prior experience as a Porter/Housekeeper in an Assisted Living Facility is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.
• Periodically tour the facility and grounds to ensure proper working order of doors, windows, and systems.
• Report unusual conditions or malfunctions to the Maintenance Director.
• Log and communicate incidents in the communication log and manage events as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed by the team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of the facility

• Periodically tours facility and grounds, examine doors, windows, and ensure proper working order

• Reports any unusual conditions or malfunction of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems or any other incidents to the Maintenance Director

• Reports in communication log and to manage any incidents

• Other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to interact with the Residents with respect and dignity

• Prior experience as a Porter/Housekeeper in an Assisted Living Facility a BIG PLUS
