Job summary

The Post Oak is seeking a reliable maintenance associate to uphold high cleaning standards in public areas and back-of-house spaces. You will perform sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and furniture care, while promptly addressing spills and hazards.

Responsibilities include waxing floors, carpet shampooing, inventory handling and delivering superior guest service in a fast-paced environment. Training is available for right candidates.

Qualifications

• Basic reading/writing in English.
• Must communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors.
• Minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Dispose of empty beer bottles and glasses.
• Clean ashtrays and replace missing ones.
• Clean gaming tables and chairs.
• Handle spills and hazards immediately.
• Clean, set up and strip wax floors; marble polishing.
• Shampoo carpet/upholstery and report repairs needed.
• Polish marble, brass, mirrors, glass, fixtures and chandeliers.
• Empty trash and handle 50 lbs+ bins.
• Receive and deliver inventory.
• Provide positive customer service.

Overview

Porter It is the responsibility of all Maintenance employees to maintain the cleanliness of all public areas and back of the house areas to the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor


• Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed


• Dispose of all empty beer bottles and glasses


• Clean, empty and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones


• Clean all gaming tables and chairs


• Take care of all bloodborne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills immediately


• Clean, set up and strip and wax all floor surfaces including marble polishing and/or cutting


• Clean and/or shampoo carpet and upholstery and report repairs needed


• Clean and/or polish marble, brass, mirrors, glass, light fixtures and chandeliers


• Clean and empty trash receptacles, push and pull 50 lbs. or more trash bins


• Receive inventory and deliver and put away inventory


• Positive customer service is required

Qualifications

• Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate


• Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English


• Must be able to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures


• Minimum age is 21 years old
