Regions Sleep Center is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to operate overnight polysomnograms under medical supervision. The role involves handling recording devices, monitoring brain, heart, and respiratory activity, and ensuring patient safety throughout the night.

Responsibilities include scoring studies, generating concise reports, and providing patient education. BLS certification and BRPT/RPSGT status (or eligibility) are required to join our team, with a strong emphasis on quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with on-the-job Polysomnography training.
• BRPT/RPSGT certification or registry-eligible.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate polysomnography equipment for overnight studies.
• Score and interpret polysomnography data and generate reports.
• Monitor and ensure patient safety during sleep studies overnight.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and preparations.
