Responsibilities

• Prepares the laboratory and bedrooms for overnight data collection and cleans equipment daily.
• Explains procedures to and establishes rapport with patients.
• Maintains a comfortable and controlled laboratory environment during patient presence.
• Alerts supervisor of emergencies and reports issues promptly.
• Troubleshoots diagnostic and therapeutic equipment as needed.
• Monitors effects of drugs and other measures on patients and documents findings.
• Guides and trains medical/technical staff when appropriate.
