Qualifications

• Accredited sleep technology program completed.
• RPSGT or BRPT certification required or eligible.
• Eligible for RST, RPSGT, CPSGT, or SDS registration.
• NBRC credential preferred.
• Graduate of accredited sleep tech program or related respiratory therapy program; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep testing and related procedures.
• Score, interpret, and report sleep study results.
• Educate patients about results and resources.
• Prepare, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain testing equipment.
• Determine and report repairs/replacements.
• Prepare testing setup and equipment for patient arrival.
• Interview patients to determine sleep issues and explain testing procedures.
