Job summary

Amazon in the United States (Alabama, Loxley) is hiring a licensed pharmacist to perform clinical data reviews, prescription verification, and virtual consultations, while overseeing end-to-end prescription fulfillment. The role requires dispensing medications using automated systems and maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

You will work with technicians to ensure efficient workflows and accurate documentation in pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree is required.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical data review, prescription verification, and virtual patient consultations per regulations.
• Manage end-to-end prescription fulfillment, including dispensing medications with automated systems and manual fill.
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment and handling of refrigerated/bulk items.
• Maintain quality standards and safety, meeting CPT and production targets.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists to ensure efficient workflow.
• Document DUR and ensure accurate records in pharmacy systems.
