Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Floyd County, GA. This role offers flexibility to fit your life while delivering in-home care to seniors who need assistance.

You’ll provide personal care, support with daily living activities, and companionship, with 1:1 client ratios and scheduling options that promote work-life balance. Valid GA PCA cert and CPR/First Aid are preferred; training is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and GA PCA Certificate (Interim can assist with certification).
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB screening within 12 months.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
