Job summary

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Floyd County, GA. Design your career around your life with flexible scheduling and the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients.

Provide personal care and support to seniors at home, assist with daily activities, reminders, and companionship. Must have a High school diploma or GA PCA certificate; CPR/First Aid; GA driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and GA PCA certificate; Interim can help with certification.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid current certification; TB screen within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises; provide medication reminders and document conditions.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in enjoyable activities.
