Job summary

Allied Universal in Irvine, CA is seeking a Security Officer for overnight shifts to patrol retail and mall locations, deter security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. A valid driver’s license and at least one year in security are required, with background checks and a drug screen.

You will join a team that values integrity and teamwork. The role is full-time with an overnight schedule and $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Guard card or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, parking facilities, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, reporting hazards and policy violations.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate information to leadership and emergency responders as needed.
