Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register new patients and update demographic, insurance, and billing info.
• Verify insurance and collect copays, deductibles, and payments.
• Advise clinical staff of arrivals and inform patients of delays.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed.
• Provide directions, hours, and policy information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks (copying, scanning, filing).
• Keep front desk and waiting areas clean and organized.
• Assist with supply management and stocking as needed.
• Support patients with a friendly, reassuring approach.
