Job summary

Olive & Finch Baker is seeking a detail-oriented baker to join our production bakery. You will prepare pastries, croissants, muffins, and other scratch-made items for our cafés and wholesale partners.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of professional baking experience, strong organization, and the ability to work independently overnight. Experience in a commissary or production bakery is a plus, with ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional baking or pastry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently in an overnight setting.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with production timelines.
• ServSafe or food handler certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, scoop, proof, and bake a variety of pastries and other baked goods.
• Follow daily production sheets to ensure accurate quantities for café and wholesale orders.
• Label, cool, and store baked items for next-day delivery and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace and equipment.
• Monitor product quality and notify management of any ingredient or equipment issues.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with prep work for upcoming shifts and support the pastry team.
• Collaborate with bakery team to meet daily and seasonal demands.
