Dash In in Ellicott City, MD is hiring Kitchen Team Members/Prep Cooks for a back-of-house role in a 24/7 retail kitchen. You’ll ensure food safety, prepare meals, manage prep levels, and keep stations clean while engaging with guests.

Strong multitasking and problem-solving help you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Required: HS diploma or GED, 1 year food service experience, ability to work varied shifts including overnights, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or willingness to complete our GED program.
• 1 year of food service experience, preferably line cook or prep cook.
• Ability to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18+ years old.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Monitor prep levels to keep dishes ready for guests.
• Keep prep station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Manage incoming goods and proper storage.
• Maintain a clean and inviting kitchen environment.
• Engage with guests while preparing food to enhance experience.

We’re on the lookout for talented Kitchen Team Members to join our Back of House (BOH) team and create extraordinary food experiences for our guests.

Your Culinary Mission:

As a Kitchen Team Member/Prep Cook, you’ll be the culinary genius behind the scenes, crafting mouthwatering meals that leave our guests smiling. Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

• Adhere to top-notch food safety, sanitation, and quality standards, ensuring every dish is a delight.
• Monitor and maintain prep levels to ensure everything is fresh and ready for our guests.
• Keep your prep station clean, stocked, and organized, because a tidy kitchen is a happy kitchen.
• Manage incoming goods, ensuring they’re stored properly and ready for culinary creation.
• Maintain our kitchen’s sparkling appearance, ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
• Engage with our guests while preparing food, providing a personalized experience that keeps them coming back.
• Operate kitchen equipment like a seasoned pro, from deep fryers to slicers.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year of food service experience, with a preference for line cook or prep cook roles
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and be 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• Certifications: Active ServSafe certification or similar qualifications
• Tech Skills: Familiarity with POS software
• Skills: Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to speak and understand Korean is preferred
