Job summary

Dash In in Ellicott City, MD is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our Back of House crew. You will ensure food safety, quality, and efficiency while preparing offerings for guests in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of food service experience and can work days, nights, overnights, and weekends. ServSafe certification and POS familiarity are a plus. We welcome applicants authorized to work in the U.S. aged 18+, with background checks and drug screening completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to complete our company-paid GED program).
• 1 year of food service experience, preference for line cook or prep cook roles.
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards for every dish.
• Monitor prep levels to keep ingredients fresh for guests.
• Keep prep station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Manage incoming goods and proper storage for culinary use.
• Maintain a clean and inviting kitchen appearance at all times.
• Engage with guests while preparing food to provide a personalized experience.
• Operate kitchen equipment ranging from deep fryers to slicers.
