Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Security Officer specialized in Access Control to safeguard tenants and visitors across a commercial real estate campus. You will manage badge access, monitor alarm panels, respond to incidents, and maintain secure, welcoming environments while using our reporting tools.

The role offers overnight Fri-Sun shifts at $18.00 per hour, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance through the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screening will be conducted.
A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining entry records.
Observe access points and report concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized entry.
