Job summary

Unicoi State Park & Lodge is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Maintenance Technician to keep the mountain property safe, functional, and guest-ready while others sleep. You’ll respond to repairs and perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and painting, working independently overnight and addressing safety concerns.

You’ll support preventive maintenance for guestrooms, public spaces, and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and assist with special projects as directed by

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Able to work independently overnight.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Guest-focused attitude and reliable.
• Hospitality or maintenance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests across the property promptly.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and painting.
• Conduct overnight rounds to identify safety needs.
• Support preventive maintenance for guestrooms and public spaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with special projects as directed by the Chief Engineer.
