Job summary

Unicoi State Park & Lodge in the North Georgia mountains is seeking a PM Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms, public spaces, and building systems operating at their best. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering a safe, comfortable guest experience, this role is for you.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Desk to ensure rooms are ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building or hotel maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest room and department maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on rooms, HVAC, kitchen, laundry, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical equipment.
• Repair or replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, locks, and fixtures.
• Maintain HVAC by changing filters and belts; conduct routine inspections.
• Assist with furniture, drywall, painting, shelving, and other facility projects.
• Conduct routine safety inspections.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and other teams to keep rooms ready.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and special projects.
